Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) is simpler: counters for brands including Avis, Enterprise, and National sit directly across from baggage claim, with vehicles parked steps outside. Missouri's toll exposure is minimal — the only toll road in the state is the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge, which charges around US$3 for a standard car and accepts cash only, so keep a few dollars accessible. Fuel averages roughly US$3.67 per gallon statewide, though rural stretches can run higher. A credit card in the primary driver's name is required at pickup, with an authorisation hold of typically US$200–400 depending on vehicle class.
